After moving from Melbourne as a nine year old I attended school locally in Bright, Myrtleford and Porepunkah, where I even rode to school on horseback!! I am extremely passionate about our beautiful region and believe it to be one of the most picturesque locations in Australia and an even better place to live.

Prior to my involvement in Real Estate I had many and varied roles, mostly in hospitality. Not many people realise that I am actually a Chef by trade (4 years at William Angliss College), originally working in a few of Melbourne’s then iconic venues, which some old punters may remember; The Weathercock Wine Bar & Cider Tavern in Carlton, the Cassa de Manyana in St Kilda Road South Melbourne just to name a couple. From there I did some builders labouring, had a stint with good old Telstra and ended up managing and then owning Hotels from King St in Melbourne’s CBD, to North Stradbroke Island, Port Stephens, back to South Melbourne, home again to Bright and then even a Night Club in the snow at Falls Creek however by this time I was a little over the hotel industry so I decided to start my own civil construction company where I eventually ended up employing over 100 staff and winning contracts Australia wide (not bad for a business based out of Bright). With todays technology operating a reasonably sized business can be done from regional areas and I do love being able to live in a beautiful place with the lifestyle it gives and especially not being caught in peak hour traffic.

My current role is leading our Business Broking section of Dickens, I really enjoy assisting hard working people to achieve their desired outcomes whether that be retirement, entering into the whole “self employed” arena or increasing their investment portfolio it really is a rewarding position to be in.

I am proud to be involved in Dickens Real Estate and to help promote our sensational area I really do believe that there is no better place than Bright and its surrounds.
