Reception

Born and educated just outside London, my first job after graduating from Uni was in sales in a precious metals refining and chemicals company in the English countryside.  I moved with the company to Hong Kong for a one-year contract, where I helped manage a diverse business including gold trading, chemicals and jewellery, and bullion sales (by the ton!) to the local banks.  Seven years later I finally moved on to Australia, following a new career into corporate computer software as a consultant and project manager.

After a time in Sydney, I moved back to Melbourne, consulting and then selling for multinational Information Technology and Telecommunications organisations, to deliver corporate and enterprise IT solutions.

With the arrival of COVID in 2019, we were presented with the opportunity to move away from the corporate life.  We sold our Melbourne home and permanently relocated to our holiday property in Bright - as a keen cyclist I had been visiting Bright regularly since 2002; and we had fallen in love with this beautiful town and the surrounding countryside.

Married to my wife Melissa, our six children (and four grandchild so far!) all live in Melbourne but of course are regular visitors to Bright.

I’m a passionate advocate for all things Bright, with a special interest in local cycling, wine, and of course real estate.  You might catch me picking grapes in March, or on a bike on the trails anytime!   Or just pop into Dickens!
